Wedding Cakes

My Wedding Cakes are baked using the finest quality ingredients, including free-range eggs, real butter, and my signature homemade vanilla extract. My cakes are coated with a finest begian chocolate ganache, with your choice of sugarpaste or buttercream (season dependant) finish. I will work with you from initial consultation to collection date in order to ensure the centrepiece for your special day is everything you dreamed of.

Alongside my wedding cake services, I am also able to design and create stunning custom polymer clay toppers, giving you a one-of-a-kind showcase decoration for you to treasure forever.

What would a birthday or anniversary be without cake!? Whatever your reason to celebrate, I will work with you to create a magical centerpiece that is guaranteed to be the star of the show and bring your friends and family together. I offer single, or up to three tier cakes, 3D cakes, each in a wide range of shapes, sizes and flavours and can also bake a selection of accompanying cupcakes with your choice of design. No matter how intimate or extravagant your celebration, I can bake the perfect cake for you.

Please note that due to copyright law, I can not reproduce certain licenced characters (eg. Disney), however I will work with you to create an original design based on a theme of your choice.

Polymer Clay Toppers

Sometimes, it would be nice if we could keep a part of a cake forever, to remind us of our special day. Unfortunately, all good cake must come to an end, but my custom-made, hand-crafted polymer clay toppers will be there for you to admire, long after the final slice has been cut! All my polymer clay toppers are sculpted and painted by hand, and can be commissioned either as part of an existing cake order, or as a stand-alone item. Polymer clay is a non-toxic product, and all my toppers are made safe for food contact. Every one of my polymer clay toppers is a one-off unique piece, so why not make your special day even more special?

About Me

Hi, my name is Sarah and I am the owner of Pippa's Patisserie in Fernwood, Newark-on-Trent. Pippa's Patisserie is named after my best friend, my Westiepoo, Pippa! I am a cake artist and designer, creating unique, hand-made cakes, treats, and polymer clay and sugarcraft toppers for any occasion.

I have over 25 years experience in the catering industry, leaving my role as a Chef behind in 2014 in order to gain my qualifications in Cake Artistry, and have never looked back. I love working with my clients in order to create the perfect centrepiece for their celebration, and nothing is more rewarding than bringing an idea to life.

I only use the finest quality ingredients - including free range eggs, homemade extracts, pure cocoa and couverture Belgian chocolate, and all cakes are baked and finished in a professional, 5 hygiene-rated kitchen bakery. I believe a cake should always taste as good as it looks : your celebration is my passion from start to finish!
